Terms of use

Last updated: 23 August 2026.

In short

VoiceTag works without an account. Three memos are free, with no time limit. Beyond that, you need a subscription or a one-off purchase.

Reading the tags put up by a venue — a museum, a shop, a public office — is free, needs no subscription, and has no limit.

Payments go through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment method, your name or your address.

What you agree to

By downloading and using VoiceTag, you accept these terms.

What the app does

VoiceTag links content — a voice memo or written text — to an NFC tag, and plays it back when you hold your phone near that tag.

It also reads the tags put up by venues that have chosen to make their information accessible with VoiceTag.

Subscription and one-off purchase

What is offered

These are the prices shown in France. App stores convert them into your currency and round them their own way: the exact amount is shown to you before any purchase.

The free trial

The annual subscription starts with a fourteen-day trial. You are not charged during that period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.

Renewal

The annual subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period.

The one-off purchase does not renew: it is paid once and lasts forever.

Managing or cancelling

You stay in control at any time, from your device settings:

Refunds

They are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where the purchase was made, and according to their own policies. We have no say in them.

Reading venue content

The content you read by holding your phone near a venue’s tag is written and published by that venue, not by us. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, current or available.

Reading it is free. It uses none of your memos and requires no subscription.

What you agree to do

Ownership of the software

VoiceTag, its name, its logo and its content are protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a personal, non-transferable right of use, not ownership of the software.

Your memos, however, are yours. They stay on your phone and we have no access to them.

What we do not guarantee

The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions, nor that it will work with every device or every NFC tag.

We are not liable for the loss of your memos. The backup feature exists for that: please use it.

Changes to these terms

We may change them. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Changes take effect as soon as they are published.

Who publishes the app

Nicolas Lacourte-Barbadaux, sole trader, operating under the business name Un miro dans la ville.

3 rue du faubourg Bannier 45000 Orléans France

SIREN number: 983 917 105.
